Health Programs
Free medical and eye camps meeting the immediate health-care needs of rural communities — irrespective of religion and race.
Care that reaches the last mile
AMYS conducts free medical and eye camps to meet the immediate health-care needs of communities in rural areas and slums around the country. We organize blindness-control programs — free eye camps with surgical treatment for cataract patients, free vision-screening camps and spectacles — alongside blood-donation camps and awareness programs that educate people about diseases and their prevention.

Medical Camps
Conducted across rural communities of low-income households where people lack access to basic health care and specialist treatment. A team of general-practice doctors examines patients one by one, diagnosing illnesses and prescribing medicine — anaemia, skin, dental and stomach conditions among them — with free medicines dispensed at the camp dispensary.

Cataract Operations
For those who have cataract but could ill-afford the enormous cost of surgery — cataract removal and lens planting. Eye operations are performed completely free of charge on an annual or biannual basis since 2001, and the service is open to all people irrespective of religion.

Free Spectacles
For those suffering from defective vision — particularly children and the elderly from less-privileged sections — spectacles are issued after mandatory eye tests. This service has been provided for a long period, is open to all, and free medical advice is part of every camp.

Blood Donation
Blood donation is one of the most significant contributions a person can make to society — a meritorious act that helps cure the ill and save lives. AMYS organizes blood-donation camps in collaboration with hospitals.
Help Restore Someone's Sight
A single donation funds screenings, surgery and aftercare for patients who could never afford it. Join the next free eye camp as a donor.
